Sealed 1982 Private Pressing Out of Chicago, CC. Recorded In Evanston, Illinois, 1982. Jimmy And Hip wanted To Make An Album That Would Sound Like The Music They Played And Heard In The Cotton Fields Of MIssissippi, When They Were Young. Stickshift Is The Word They Used In The Cotton Fields For Acoustic Guitar. When Hip Was Young, He Was Left At Home To Cook While His Parents, Brothers And Sisters Worked In The Cotton Field. Hip Would Drag A Chair Over To The Wall Where His Daddy's Guitar Was Hanging. He Would Take It Down And Practice. Jimmy Bought His First Stickshift Guitar By Selling Mustard Seeds. For This Recording They wanted To Use The Best Acoustci Guitars Possible. They Are Both Playing Martins.... more details
