Vinyl Records and Rare LPs:

To Elvis: Love Still Burning Picture Disc - New - FSP-1001 Sealed 1978 Picture Disc Original. There are records, and then there are artifacts—testaments to moments when collective grief found its way onto wax. “To Elvis: Love Still Burning,” assembled in 1977 as the world reeled from the King’s passing, is such a document. Billed to a curious league—Danny Mirror, Bobby Fisher, Leon Everette, and Johnny Tollison—the single and its various international pressings encapsulate a unique blend of tribute and opportunism. Danny Mirror (Dutch singer Eddy Ouwens) leads with raw, plaintive vocals on the title track, a eulogy that swept European charts and found a second life in the U.S. with the addition of country-tinged voices like Everette and Tollison. Fisher’s inclusion, though lesser-known, completes a patchwork of styles, making each version subtly distinct. The single’s orchestrated pathos and spoken tributes offer not just a song, but a period capsule—a mourning mass pressed into groove. more
