1990 US Original In Shrink Wrap With Insert And Hand-Written Letter From An Exec At Baby Faze Records To A Buyer At Tower Records. This Is Definitely A Reasonable Compilation Of Pretty Much Unknown Underground / Goth Bands From The Late End Of The 80's / Early '90's, All Residents Of The San Francisco Scene Of That Period. Apart From Stickdog, All The Bands Play A Rousing, Wave Infused Brand Of Gothic Music, Largely Unshaped By The Necessity To Emulate Either Christian Death And / Or The Sisters Of Mercy, Which Was Unfortunately The Prevalent Blend At That Rather Impotent And Dessicated Point In History. Into Decline Stand Out, And Are Very Similar To The Latter Period Of Into A Circle. Threnody And Broken Toys Are Both Very European Sounding Too, And Were Clearly Influenced By Bands Such As The Chameleons, Salvation, And Chatshow, Energetic Yet Essentially Autumnally Melancholic. more
