Sealed 1987 12" Single Housed In A Picture Sleeve. Tracks Are "No Pain," "No Pain #2 (Short Mix)," "Le Sacre d'Hiver" And "No Pain (Get Ready Mix)." “Ornamental Was A Short-Lived Studio Project Collaboration Between Film Composer/Musician Hilmar Örn Hilmarsson, Dave Ball (Soft Cell), Einar Örn Benediktsson (Purrkur Pillnikk, Sugarcubes) And Singer Rose Mcdowall (Strawberry Switchblade). The Musical Commune Released But Two 12”’S In Their Existence: 1987’s “No Pain” (Featured Today With A Rare Video, Including An Introduction By Einar And Björk) And The Following Year’s “Crystal Nights” (Though Ball Only Appeared On The Debut). The Former Was Issued By Örn And Ásmundur Jónsson’s Icelandic Indie Label Gramm, The Latter By The UK’s One Little Indian, Also Home To The Sugarcubes. Neither Record Made Much Of A Splash Up Release, But Both Have Become Collectible In The Years Since In The Wake Of Future Successes Of The Associated Acts. We All Know What Became Of Örn, Himarsson Would Continue To Compose Music (Including A Collaboration With Sigur Rós) Before Joining Psychic TV And Reuniting There With Ball.
