The album was produced by Bill Wyman, the bassist of the Rolling Stones, and was recorded at his home recording studio. The album features a mix of hard rock, blues, and boogie-woogie influences, with songs that showcase the band's tight musicianship and catchy songwriting. It includes the singles "Gold Medallions" and "Run In The Mornin". Tucky Buzzard went on to release two more albums before disbanding in 1974.
